BMW 1 Series - E81, E82, E87 and E88 |
The BMW 1 Series
was first offered to the market in 2004 as a five-door hatchback
and is the only rear-wheel drive in its class.
It replaced the BMW 3 Series Compact range and is currently the
smallest and most 'affordable' vehicle in the BMW range. During
its first full year on the market in 2005 it sold 149,493, becoming
one of BMW's most successful products.

BMW 3 Series - E21, E30, E36, E46, E90, E91 and E92 |
The BMW 3 Series,
the most versatile and definately one of the most popular member
of the BMW family.
The 3 series range has a car suited for every taste. If you want

This made the 3 series one of the best selling BMWs of all time.

BMW 5 Series - E12, E28, E34, E39, E60 and E61 |
The BMW 5 Series
got its name by being the fifth of the "new series" cars
after the V-8 and Isetta era. It was intended to replace the smaller
New Class saloons, leaving the coupes as the company's low-end model.
On January 29, 2008, the 5 millionth 5 series, a 530d saloon in
Carbon Black Metallic, was manufactured.

BMW 6 Series
- E24, E63 and E64 |
BMW 6 Series
refers to two generations of car from BMW. The first was the E24
launched in 1976. The second was the all new E63 / E64 which was
released in 2003, filling the hole in the lineup left since the
end of the 8-Series' production.
In 2005, the M6 version of the new 6 Series was introduced with
a whopping 500 BHP, 0 - 60 in 4.6 seconds!

BMW 7 Series - E23, E32, E38, E65 and E66 |
There have been four generations
of the 7 Series; BMW E23 (1977–1986), BMW
E32 (1987–1994), BMW E38 (1995–2001)
and the BMW E65 / E66 (2002–present).
The BMW 7 series will undergo its next redesign
and facelift in 2008 with the new model going on sale in early 2009.
This will be the only luxury vehicle in the world to offer petrol,
diesel, hybrid and now a hydrogen powertrain.

The BMW 8 Series
(E31) is a V8 or V12 - engined 2door coupe built from 1989 to 1999
with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph, although with
the limiters removed top speed was estimated at 186 mph.
Worldwide production ceased May 12, 1999, with 30,621 built. BMW
is rumored to have plans to revive the 8 Series name for a potential
"four-door coupe," much like the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class.

BMW M Power - M3, M5 and M6 |
The BMW M Power
range is no doubt the cream of all BMW's. M Power engine, performance
tuned M suspension, extra stiff chassis plus much more, the M Power
is a truly supreme and defined range. From the old E30 M3, spanning
the years through the M5, and the newer M6, the name itself sells
a breathtaking, thriller of a machine.

The BMW Z1
is a two-seat roadster developed by BMW Forschung und Technik GmbH
and produced from March 1989 to June 1991. The Z1 featured unusual
doors which, instead of opening outward or upward, dropped down
into the door sills. Only 8,000 examples of the Z1 were produced.

The BMW Z3
was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW, as well
as the first new BMW model assembled in the United States. The Z3
was introduced as a 1996 model year vehicle, shortly after being
featured in the James Bond movie, GoldenEye.

The most powerful car of
the BMW Z4 line-up is the Z4 M. It features a naturally
aspirated, in-line six cylinder engine, used in the third generation
of the BMW M3, producing 338 bhp. 0-100 km/h takes 5.0 seconds,
and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

The BMW Z8's
factory claimed a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62.5 mph) time of 4.7 seconds;
Motor Trend magazine achieved 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.2 seconds.
Road and Track measured the car's lateral grip at .92. Car and Driver
magazine also tested the car and found that it outperformed the
contemporary benchmark Ferrari 360 Modena in three important performance
categories: acceleration, handling, and braking.
